The other week, on Boy’s Day, AKA Cinco De Mayo, a restaurant out in the Kihei area was having an AMAZING sale!! Pita Paradise in Kihei was having a 50% sale off all food!! We couldn’t pass up that deal, so we headed out South!!
With the mindset that we could try anything, since price wasn’t a factor like it usually is, I tried the Lamb Pita and Dave tried the Fresh Catch of the Day Pita. ONOLICIOUS!!! 😀 We tried the roasted red potatoes, which were okay. I remembered at the last minute to take a picture of my food! Unfortunately, I was way too slow for Dave!! He dove right in once we gave thanks for our food!
Then, since I’ve been eyeing one of their desserts (I hadn’t gotten it before since I’m usually too full by then, and it’s a little on the pricey side), I decided to order one for take out. Baklava Ice Cream, which turned out to be more of an ice cream cake!! Took us a few days before we dove in. But once we did, both Dave and I found out that we LOVED it!! I didn’t realize that he never had baklava before (which to him, was the BEST part)! So I later found a recipe by Betty Crocker and made some simple baklava for him! Now, to find a recipe for the REAL thing! 🙂
